Traveling to Belize

You’ll arrive at Belize City’s airport (airport code BZE) which is a 10-15 minute cab ride from the hotel.

Seven major airlines have regular routes to the Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport in Belize City (BZE). The U.S. carriers are Delta (Atlanta and Los Angeles), 

American (Miami, Dallas, Charlotte, and Los Angeles), United (Houston, Chicago, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Wisconsin, Indiana and Newark), and Southwest (Houston and Denver). If you’re flying from Canada, WestJet flies direct to Belize from Toronto. Additionally, Copa (Panama) provides air service through Central America. Airfare is typically between US$400 and US$800, depending on the departure city, carrier, and time of year.

For your travel needs (including flight assistance and insurance), please contact your travel agency of choice. You might also want to research your airfare options online. You could try: www.google.com/flights/, www.kayak.com, www.orbitz.com, www.travelocity.com, and www.expedia.com. You also may want to sign up for free email alerts from your preferred airlines; take a look at their websites for options. Many websites also offer free email alerts highlighting air travel specials. Try www.travelzoo.com.

Driving in Belize

If you’d like to stay for a while and see the country by car, all you’ll need is a valid driver’s license from your home country and you should have an International Driver’s License, available from AAA or in Canada, CAA. There’s no better way to explore Belize.

Medical and Cancellation Insurance

We’ve worked with an international insurance service to provide exclusive coverage for Live and Invest Overseas event attendees.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be sent to our conference department by email. For cancellations received more than 45 days before the start of the event, we will return your payment, less a US$150 administration fee per person. For cancellations received more than 14 days before the start of the event, we will return your payment, less a US$350 penalty per person. For cancellations made 14 or less before the start date of the event, the conference fee is non-refundable*.

 *Please note that all cancellation fees may be used as a credit towards a future Live and Invest Overseas conference or conference kit.
